EMPOWER HER BLOG: Access Granted!

Friend, do you believe God can speak to you in any way at any moment in time?

Last night, there was an unusual way I believe God spoke to me and I believe it will help you in your faith.

Let me set the scene.

I was just arriving home from church prayer and needed to open the garage door.

My keys were in my left hand, but I also was carrying additional items where it was a challenge for me to enter the garage door code.

When I tried to tap on the garage keypad, I heard the garage door open.

I looked behind me and noticed my dad had pulled up in the driveway and he had managed to open the garage door.

It was right then when I was encouraged in faith!

Because that’s how life can be at times.

There are things we tend to carry that can limit access to the good life that God has promised us.

Fear.

Anxiety.

Worry.

Shame.

These are things God does not want us to carry, but He wants us to give to Him to handle.

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭30‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your cares on him, because he cares about you.”‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭CSB‬‬

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and sound judgment.” 2 Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬ ‭CSB‬‬

What have you been carrying that has limited you from fully experiencing the good things God has for you?

God, what are the things that are holding me back from experiencing you and the good things you have for me?

When you ask, trust God will answer, help lead you, and place you on a path to good things!

The good news is even if you have a lot you are carrying, just like my father, God will also extend grace to open up the right doors when you least expect it!
