Is it just me or do you also tend to check your GPS during the awkward silence when driving?
You know what I am referring to.
After the GPS shares, “Turn left in 1 mile.”
The silence in between receiving the next set of directions can be daunting.
Your subconscious will have you second guessing yourself like:
Where do I turn again?
How far am I from making the turn?
Here recently, I started contracting for Uber part-time throughout the week.
With this being said, I use my GPS navigation almost every day.
And, no matter how many times I hear, Take exit 15th St. in 2.2 miles, I will repeatedly check my phone every few seconds or so to make sure I don’t miss my turn!
To be honest, I believe many of us Christians are guilty of doing something similar in our relationship with God.
We will seek God for a certain job, relationship, or opportunity.
In response, He’ll give us a clear direction on moving forward to our destination.
Yet, we will keep checking back to him like…
He didn’t just give us a scripture to read…
We didn’t just hear a random song on the radio that spoke to our very situation…
OR
Someone didn’t just randomly start off a conversation with us about…you know what 😉
When God gives a word, you can trust Him because He has proven He’s faithful to His word.
No Cap 🧢 (Hebrews 6:18)
I believe the silence in between receiving next steps from God can be used to exercise our faith.
Think about it!
If God gave you every tiny detail on previous paths you’ve taken, would you have listened?

Move Forward By Faith, Not Sight
To help you, answer the following:
What was the last thing God spoke to me?
What am I doing to be obedient to God’s instruction(s)?
How’s my attitude during the process to where God is leading me?
Honey Bunches, I have great news…you are not alone in your faith journey. God is always with you! This faith process, I too, am going through every day. The following passages have helped me.
My prayer is they will too bless you:
Psalms 40:1-2 NLT
Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT
Judges 6-8

When God gives a word, you can trust Him because He has proven He’s faithful to His word.
Move forward by faith, not sight!
“I waited patiently for the Lord to help me,
and he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the pit of despair,
out of the mud and the mire.
He set my feet on solid ground
and steadied me as I walked along.”
Psalms 40:1-2 NLT
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT
